WARM HOMES SUFFOLK – GRANT

Warm Homes Suffolk are providing an energy efficiency grant, to homes with an Energy Performance Certificate rating of D, E, F, G,  to help make them warmer and cheaper to run. Funding is available for improvements such as:

  • Wall insulation
  • Loft and roof insulation
  • Solar panels
  • Air source heat pumps
  • High heat retention storage heaters

SUFFOLK LOFT INSULATION OFFER

Suffolk Climate Change Partnership has partnered with High Loft which gives an opportunity for residents to get a 50% discount (up to £200). The sizes available in this offer are 200mm and 370mm wide eco-friendly, itch free thermal insulation rolls.
You may need to top up your existing insultation with the current Government recommendation for insulation being at least 270mm thick.

SUFFOLK ENERGY EFFICIENCY ASSESSMENT

Suffolk councils are offering residents a free or funded home energy efficiency assessment from certified assessors (typically £250) and receive a report of recommendations and ongoing support. Its additionally for homes under 98m squared, or just £30.
The campaign aims to help households implement measures that reduce their fuel bills and also reduce carbon footprints, helping Suffolk towards its target of Net Zero by 2030.

Green Suffolk are offering the use of Homewise, a digital energy advice tool that will show you which energy efficiency improvements and renewable technologies could help boost the energy rating of your home, helping you to save money on your energy bills.
